All I remember of season 2 was Max being obnoxious and rude to his guests
Loved the spinoff scifi series though.

They made the (UK) film to provide a back story for Max, who was created as a novelty video jockey
then a few years later they recycled/remade the film into a spinoff cyberpunk scifi series. Some of the same cast.
