The idea is a fine thing, how it ever gets implemented is another thing entirely. Road to hell/good intentions and all that.
Our supermarket food traffic light system(s) got watered down and rendered meaningless and confusing, I can see this going the same way, or at least going from an idea that can be expressed in a paragraph, to a 1000+ page policy document that nobody understands.

I agree, there are a lot of factors that could stop the Product Passport being effective and, as the film mentions, that alone isn't going to be enough - but it would be a good start! I think the public has an appetite for it so I really hope that this film gets seen by a lot of people and that maybe as a result some of those people got involved by showing some support for a product passport and indeed for a right to repair.
