And normally seeing them try karate kicks that they’ve seen in films gets a laugh, but in this case it actually looked like a fairly competent attempt.

Anybody who has spent time in a gym and sparred
knows that smacking barefisted a drunk untrained person leads to:
"I hit You, you hit the floor, the ambulance hits 60."
Then you have to deal with the plod and/or a broken hand.
