I like to think they named him after linguist Whorf, of the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis: if your language doesn't have a word for a concept, then you will be unable or unlikely to imagine that concept.
Klingon has no word for peace.

This is a normal post It's a silly idea.
If they have physics or music, they have a concept of things being at rest, in phase, in harmony. To survive as a species they understand the concept of mutual cooperation.
