not that I would have said no to one of those, they're nicer with more features and better performance.
but we used exclusively tojo's (land cruisers) out in the desert, as did most other mines and exploration teams. they're simpler and more reliable, two pretty important qualities where breakdowns can get you in the shit pretty quickly, and the mine site mechanics can get them back on the road fast and cheaply too
