They're proposing a starting price of £60k, which is Defender level pricing. Don't get me wrong, the new Defender is an overpriced heap of shit too, bit at least it has an interior.

This is a normal post not that I would have said no to one of those, they're nicer with more features and better performance.
but we used exclusively tojo's (land cruisers) out in the desert, as did most other mines and exploration teams. they're simpler and more reliable, two pretty important qualities where breakdowns can get you in the shit pretty quickly, and the mine site mechanics can get them back on the road fast and cheaply too

But there's a lot to be said for a motor with only one moving part. Think milk float instead of Tesla.
