This is a normal post Yeah but that’s a bar chart, not a graph.
The convention for graphs is that the quantity you’re interested in goes on the y-axis. If you need more space for y values then you switch to portrait but the y axis is still the vertical one. If you swap the axes out of some aesthetic whim you’ll just end up with a bunch of confused people wondering why the hell they’re looking at a time over distance graph.

As for being equal, if I walk at 1 m/s and plot the distance travel I’ll also get a nice straight line going through the origin, but the values are still different units and not equal in any meaningful sense.

All this pissing up the wall could have easily been avoided if the guy had stated both his units. As it is I seriously doubt his measurements as I have expended 1.4 decafucks and gained only .8 attoboroughs involving myself on this thread.

This is a normal post bar chars are graphs, and have and x and y axis, and I said you were generally right about the convention with time
x and y graphs of the type above can have any unit data or scalar data, like scatter graphs. It could be number of volvos owned against butt plugs owned. they don't have to have a relationship, though in the volvo case it's 1:1
my feeling was that without units it's describing a scale, with 10 being the maximum you could fuck around or find out, and they were equal in that scalar relationship. But this is an assumption, so you're right, 'proportional relationship' would have been a more apt description, which grants you a further .1 attoboroughs and 2 degatysons
