Every once in a while
I'll see or hear something like this and think "Maybe I should check this podcast out."
Then I visit the site, faff about with script blocking because it's so badly coded, select a clip to listen to, and quit after at least 90 seconds of forced media adverts, patreon begging and shilling, having heard none of the content I selected.

I think Benpics selects the best nuggets
and animates them so you don't have to trawl through the rest of it. That's what I think anyway.

Why not use a podcast aggregator like
podbean, apple/google podcasts etc - I haven't gone to most of the websites of podcasts I like.
They have 30s skip features on all of the platforms.

Why not offer a service that doesn't use forced media in the first place?
Like, why not just link to an mp3 and let your audience decide how they want to play it? Why make it harder for people to access the non-advert content?
Greedy cunts is why.
