This is a normal post Loads…
The Voice UK
The Voice Australia
C4 Stand up to Cancer
Celebrity Apprentice USA
I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here

He tried to get on Celebrity Big Brother, but was on probation at the time, and the probation service forbade it.

Various other guest appearances on various other shows.

This is a normal post "highly paid mainstream presenter" is pushing it with these,
unless The Apprentice USA winners get to join Culture Club.

This is a normal post Those shows were watched by millions. At prime time. On major networks. He was a regular on them.
If you don’t think he will have been highly paid for them, there’s not a lot more I can say.

This is a normal post Yeah, but not as a presenter.
So, like Ian Brown, then.

Who performed on many mainstream shows, and appeared in a Harry Potter film, even after being found guilty of threatening to cut a woman's hands off.

Your theory that there's some sort of gay privilege with these things is nonsense.

This is a normal post Oh, ok, you’re just resorting to being pedantic now.
He wasn’t THE presenter, he wasn’t the host, he wasn’t the anchor. He was a major recurring contributor though. He was a judge on a talent show, then a coach on a talent show, held up as role model for contestants.

I’m genuinely surprised that Brown was in a Harry Potter movie. I did not know this. What he did to his ex was worse than the air rage IIRC.

I don’t have a ‘gay privilege’ theory, I’m just trying to counter the cries of ‘homophobia’ when gay people are called out for doing shitty things. Twitter was awash with people claiming that if Huw and Phil were straight there wouldn’t have been a fuss about what they did. The straight privilege theory, if you will. Complete bollocks. I think in Boy George’s case, he’s cut some slack precisely because it was ‘just’ a rent boy, and not some tart with a heart. That’s where the real homophobia is.

This is a normal post I wonder what the reaction would have been
If it was revealed that Huw Edwards or Philip Schofield had been sending a BBC car to pick up a 16 year old boy from his school so that he could be brought to them for sex?

This is a normal post You think Brand’s being let off lightly? His woes are just beginning.
IIRC Schofield was using an itv car to ferry his teenage friend around. No laws were broken.

Edwards is merely suspended on full pay because diddums got the boohoos, the poor lamb. He’s weeping all the way to the bank. I foresee a big payoff for him too.

So of the two, Phil was way harsher treated.

This is a normal post You really hate the gays, don't you?

This is a normal post No. But I do hate you.
You really hate the trans women don’t you?
That’s why you named yourself after a character from a repeatedly transphobic sitcom, isn’t it?
Ladyboys! Tee hee!

This is a normal post I named myself after a notoriously chippy b3tan. We've had this conversation already, dear.

This is a normal post You’ve told that lie before, yes.
You have quoted (and misquoted) the sitcom many times, demonstrating you are a Partridge fanboy.

Quick, lie and call me a homophobe, it’s your oft used get out jail free card.
