Yeah, but calling out my boss on their voting preference in a foreign country is not going to get my probation period signed off.
And I need my job more than I need to know what party they voted for in their democracy.
I mean, from my interaction with them so far, I doubt they're a fascist - but I'm not prepared to ask.

From what I’ve heard/read from others there was quite a big protest vote.
Better just say you don’t understand all the political parties and the various permutations of coalitions and change the subject.

I was dealing with these Columbian developers over zoom, made small talk, they seemed pretty chill and I've generally found among devs that they're mostly left of centre. Mentioned the recent change of government there after decades of hard-core authoritarian government, expecting them to be positive, but no, it was the end of the fucking world. glad I didn't say anything
