He's rumoured (along with Putin and others) to wear secret platform shoes that look like dress shoes but have a high heel shoe inside.
I wonder if a shoe like that is more likely to come off when you're hustled to the ground by secret service people. And if the fear of people seeing your secret high heel platform shoes cuts through the shock of having been shot at enough for you to prioritise your shoes over other stuff?

Maybe he has to wear slip-ons due to his age and size.
Can't imagine he'd be allowed to wear flip-flops, maybe a pair of fluffy mules.
