Quite a few of these police bodycam videos out of the US just scream “untreated mental illlness” to me.
Going back to that GBeebies link below, just imagine if the guy was in the midst of a psychotic break instead. At least we can be thankful that over here there would be properly trained help available.

The cops are left to deal with the resulting problems.
In the UK, they closed asylums decades ago and now use prisons instead.
Admittedly, it was scary when I was at the psychiatrist and another one turns up, debating whether to section me...

there's definitely an element of mental illness in the sheila above, but that often goes hand-in-hand with scammers.
