The space travel in Alien was only meant to last a few months each way, discovering the alien stretched the return trip to 10 months.
In Aliens she's told that she's been under for 57 years but that appears to be a plot point to allow for the planet to have been terraformed and populated and for any warning to have been forgotten/downplayed/ignored.
Ripley being under for 57 years doesn't equate to it taking 57 years to reach the planet.
