You might as well try to damage the Crystal Palace. You'd think someone would have had the balls to say "that ship has sailed, love". to get anywhere with a libel case you have to PROVE that someone's comments have caused you reputational damage. It's fucking hard at the best of times - Musk calling a rescue diver a paedo is a case in point.
There was so much press coverage at the time deriding her "crashing the economy" that this case is a joke. In fact, it's providing some welcome cover to Reeves at a time when there's a lot of heat on her for long-term borrowing costs.
