To be fair, most of the houses like this I've seen have been in Norway
or other places where it gets damn cold in the winter, and have a barely passable summer. So you might have a point there.
But I was planning on building one pretty much on the Welsh border, so that also counts for the sort of place you don't want to experience the actual weather.
