To be fair when you look at it on Google earth that small patch of rainforest is right next to a city
And the actual amazon is miles and miles away and they've found some guy who's been scrumping the fruit for years and now has the hump he can't freeload anymore.
I'm not going sit in my first world country surrounded by farmland and carparks, and wag my finger at them for developing their own country.
(Obviously the climate conference industry is absolutely ridiculous and just an opportunity for people to feel important and make money but i feel the article is disingenuous).
