This is a link post It's not often that a hardcore-difficult immersive sim gets a laugh
..but this is why I've been ploughing a couple of hours a day into KCD2 for the last month or so. It's really very well-written (even if there are a total of like 8 voice actors, to be expected I suppose). They tie in references to the first game as well without being too exlusionary, so it's really amenable to new players. When the 'triple-A' crowd are making po-faced deep and meaningful stuff that lasts about 20 hours, this is how the 'double-A' guys show them how it's done.
