KSP felt like one of those ‘once in a generation’ games. KSA (not the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) looks like a ‘me too’ rip off.

Lots of original KSP coders and modders are working on KSA.
This is a team that bid on making the KSP sequel, lost, and kept going anyway. KSP2 was a reskin of KSP based on the same code on the same bugged out Unity engine. KSA uses a purpose built engine.
So no, I don't agree that it's a me too rip off.
