This is a link post Pocket demo-scene cube: Interactive & predictable I made this!
Drag to rotate. Watch time slip by. That’s it really.
Mildly hypnotic, mostly useless.

needs some instructions. was just staring at a solved cube and a bunch of disabled buttons. reloaded a few times. checked the console. i accidently managed to click on one of the timer items as I was fucking about clicking all over the place.

thought from the look of it i thought i was supposed to interact with cube to mess it up and let the computer solve in in some time. so i was ctrl/alt dragging around

gave it more time i'd do of any other site that isn't clear what to do.

It's a nice pointless toy but does need more context.

np. all of us get into that "of course that's what its supposed to do" idea when its obvious to us. Glad you didn't take it as criticism - just feedback from a bod going "WTF is going on"

Context added. Thank you for the suggestion

This is a normal post Agreed
It is quite clever though.
It seems to be :
"Set a time, press Go, and the cube will be solved in exactly that time".

So, you can set exactly how long you want to be mesmerised for, staring a self-solving cube. Very relaxing, IMO

Edit: Oh - and the page even calls itself a Stopwatch. I missed that.
