It isn't the ability to farm/forage that would be the issue.
Clean water and medicine/medical help would be a bigger issue. Infant mortality would soar.
Not forgetting the first time you think i'll just look up what that primitive bloke on youtube does.

There are about 4 dozen houses near me
named variations of 'Old Well House'. I know of several other abandoned wells here and there. They should be good again once commerce and industry die, and once the water infrastructure collapses.
Abandoned bathroom medicine cupboards should be good for things like pile cream and paracetamol. We wouldn't have time to get any complicated or luxury illnesses, half of us are going to die before we're 40. That's of those remaining after the first year of chaos, and after Russia invades, obviously.
