Thanks for the advice, I am just a little miffed seeing a video halfway down the page hasn’t also had the same issue (but maybe I misunderstood), it wasn’t just generated from a prompt, I know people put a lot of effort into making something and it was a couple of weeks storyboarding & editing. Sorry the lady protest to much

This is a normal post Just hadn't scrolled down far enough to see the other one
You say it's your own ai? That obviously complicates things.
So it has no reference/training on any stolen sources?

Sorry to have gone quiet for a day, and I’ve got no problem with it being taken down. I was a bit annoyed on Sunday as I had spent literally days chopping up multiple stills & video clips on iMovie. I tried to explain to the ai what table football & subbuteo was but the best it could do was a chess game.

I spent a lot of time looking for suitable stock footage to create a story arc that might fit my ideas of two gangster football managers from the 1970s playing chess in a grungy warehouse set against England vs Scotland football matches when the likes of Kenny dalglish , but I don’t have the budget to hire cameras or actors, so using ai I think is legitimate, if you did see the video you’ll clearly see the sticking plaster that no ai could mimic I used to edit it together.

I’ve been recording music as the Rodeo Terrorists for near on twenty years (almost as long as I’ve been on b3ta) and everything I do is DIY, yes I have been using ai in the last year to perform aspects of the music and songs I write & record, but again they are all mixed by me.

I appreciate everyone has a different perspective on ai, and apologies that I wasn’t clear enough when I posted it. There’s a lot more I could say about ai, but from my perspective all art is derivative, sublimated and created from the interpretation of other people’s work and ideas, so just because a computer is now an interface to that interpretation doesn’t make the idea any less valid.

I am raising money for MND Scotland this year so you may not like my video or song but if you pop you hand in your pocket (I know you’re probably fed up with this post for now), but just being able to wake up in the morning and be able to post crap here vs slowly watching someone loosing the ability to communicate and even think about tomorrow www.justgiving.com/page/saltire-tartan-army

This is a normal post But the point is while I can be inspired by all the music or art I've heard and looked at
I can't just magically create an album of Classical music or print off some Constables in seconds like ai can, thanks to it being a massive stolen database of artists lifetimes of effort. It'd take me years, by which point I would have actually created my own art from the experience, not just a soulless calculated approximation.

Not having the budget for a video doesn't make it ok to use stolen data. Why not ask around? I've made videos for people for no money in the past, perhaps someone else has the time and youthful enthusiasm I used to have.
