It doesn't do anything. You can stretch your ears to attach to objects.

no it was the seemingly arbitrary way the ears go super long that caught me out
I eventually figured it out and my completion run through was 17minutes 30secs, but by that point it was fuelled more by autistic need for completion than any actual joy in the process.
