and why you would, when hanging yourself is what people normally do when they've had enough

This is a normal post Well, according to the Sport (so god knows how legit this is)
He rigged the chainsaw with a timer, rested his neck on it and waited. It seems plausible, I know that people have managed stupider things but as everyone else has pointed out, why bother with that when there are much simpler ways to kick your own bucket?

"Man dies of overdose" is far less likely to end up on the front page than "Man shops own head off with chainsaw".
