But users have searched Google for "Facebook login", they get the readwriteweb.com page and think it's Facebook redesigned?

Are people THAT stupid?

This is a normal post sounds about right
Consider that people out tghere fall for 419 scams all the time.

Golden Rules of the Internet:
1) Don't trust anything.
2) Nothing is for free.
3) If it sounds too good to be true it is.
4) If it doesn't look like you expected then it probably isn't.
