But she was doing her damndest to let people assume she was an electoral offical. I think they really should be made to show their "colours" if they are going to do it.

the chap at my polling station was wearing a blue rosette. It was the Barbour jacket that gave him away as a Tory though

In which case, she still shouldn't be doing it.

Seems like she's blindly volunteered to do something because of her commitment to her party, and then thought that it might be dodgy so is being evasive.

Is that reading too much into it?
