Or rather, my left eye cannot look left, so if I try and look left the right one moves but the left one stays in the middle.

If you can cross your eyes, that is.
Cross your eyes.
Look left.
Cross your eyes.
Look left.
Repeating this gets you used to just moving your left eye so that you can keep your right eye looking left but move your left eye freely..

think that would help a lazy eye? My left tends to drift occasionally, though slight. Doctor said my right eye was hogging my vision and that the left got used to not focusing and moving fully. The extra movement may benefit, possibly. I should try it sometime. Though I'm sure I'll look SUPER attractive doing it.

i wore glasses as a kid to correct it somewhat. sometimes it still goes wonky though.
