This is a link post sorry for the 'unfunny' - but a link to our government website, where you can voice your opinion on current laws etc
"We are determined to restore fundamental civil liberties, while still protecting our society. You can read our ideas on how we do this in in Our Programme for Government, but we also really want your views. We hope to include the most constructive of your ideas in our Freedom Bill later in 2010."

Might be bollocks, but certainly worth a read at least.

This is a normal post Its a big PR ploy
to make the government look like they're interested in anything that poors have to say. They've already said that its all just suggestions and that they don't have to listen to any of it.

Sorry, I feel cynical this afternoon.

This is a normal post True
but cutting public spending so severely for purely ideological reasons will send us spiraling back to the dark ages - which is not so nice

This is a normal post I'm glad it's not set up so that the stuff with the highest votes was repealed
as 4chan would just cause havoc.

As it is - getting the public to flag stuff up is the good approach as it's less gameable - assuming the gov actually do listen to the people.
