I saw him last night at Roskilde Festival and was expecting him to be an arrogant little gnome. He surprised me by actually looking as if he was enjoying himself.
I'm not the fan I used to be though, I was knocking about on b3ta when the whole cease and desist thing came to pass. I'm afraid he fell drastically in my opinion after that.
As for the 10 years out if date, I think you're probably right.

He said at the time 'I could have easily made another album like Purple Rain and made it successful, but I wanted to be more artistic than that' or something similar. It totally different to Purple Rain.
