
Not a great idea and the presentation was predictable and pretentious. I think one of the things we'll all look back on in 20 years is how all viral videos had fake shakey-cam and were all posted on Vimeo in HD.
I like how seamless the CGI was but it just looks like every other video out there. Nothing big, clever or original. /SOAPBOX

I hadn't seen one like it. Understand your point, and it is valid. If anything this video should have been one level only and it needs some cleanup work. This was probably a proof-of-concept or a student vid or something. If this is a professional production house, then that changes things.

you're right about it possibly being a student. I'm prepared to change my tune about the production if so. If its a proof-of-concept I hope they know that there are a million other videos similar to this they could get lost in the pack.

Yes, it's longer than it needs to be to get the point (if there is one outside of him flexing his skills), but this guy did a damn good job pulling it off.
That's some rock-solid tracking and I'm sure he learned a lot from doing it.
Not everything that looks good is produced by some marketing team. There doesn't need to be a reason.
