fired from a Paslode nailgun.
So it's unlikely to be an accident.
I haven't personally tried contacting the RSPCA as it's in my friend's garden - not mine. This also means that I haven't actually seen it in the flesh / feathers.
I hope that it's merely suffering from a delusional identity disorder and is masquerading as a unicorn.

I think it's quite likely to be an accident tbh...
I don't think nail guns are particularly known for their accuracy considering that they don't have a barrel or anything to stabilise the nail post firing. Also, they aren't hugely powerful over a large distance.
Saying that, I don't know how it would have happened otherwise...I think I'm just convincing myself that a person wouldn't ever consider firing a nail into a bird's head.
