Having a PS3 I missed out on the first two
Any good? I mean there's a pretty cutscene there, but what's the game itself like?

They're amazing.
ME2's got better gameplay- less faffing about with inventory and menus though some people complained about it being dumbed down. Also sometimes some slight RPG-style boring wandering about the place talking to randoms.
But the action's great and the characters (bar a couple of boring humans) and plot are generally well written, even if Bioware do rip off loads of scifi stories along the way eg Geth are basically Battlestar's Cylons. ME2 is basically one of my favourite games ever.
Apparently there's a PS3 port of ME2 coming early next year with some extra dlc included, and ME3's gonna be on all platforms.

It's won game of the year
from several places and got 9/10 and 10/10. It's far and away one of my fave games on the PC. If you haven't played it, find a way to do so. :)
