This is a normal post Respectfully, I disagree
but then again, I'm only 27 so I don't really have any first hand experience of the Conservative party being out of opposition.

Does anyone know how many Conservative MPs were MPs the last time the Conservative party were in power? I'd be interested to find out.

This is a normal post fair enough.
i'm not much older than you. i'm not sure i see what the number of long standing tory mps has to do with it. it's still the tory party, they are still mostly racist and homophobic and still hold poor people entirely responsible for their poverty. (also i was also a bit wide in a response to you further down the page, sorry about that, i kind of knew it was wide and did it anyway. i could blame tiredness but it's more likely to have been the cunt in me getting loose {loose cunt :)} sorry again)

This is a normal post I try not to judge people according to labels
Saying that people are racist and homophobic because they belong to the Conservative party is inconsistent with the way I assess people and in fact with my personal experience of Westminster.

As for their political views, I may not agree with them but I don't count them as hateful as making value judgements about people based on ethnicity, sexual preference or political ideology.

Never apologise for arguing on the internet though, I of all people can take it.

This is a normal post i didn't say that people are racist/homophobic because they belong to the tory party.
i didn't even say that they joined the tory party because they are racist/homophobic. i said that tories are mostly racists and homophobes. i'd rather you criticize what i say rather than what you would like me to have said/thought i said. also i find it odd that you are lumping together ethnicity, sexual preference and political ideology in terms of value judgements. ethnicity and sexuality are not a matter of personal choice. ideology is. are you saying i can't make a value judgement of an ideology? if we were talking about the bnp i doubt you would be trying to make this flimsy point.

Sorry but I'm not going to have an argument with someone who says things like this, its pointless. I know that isn't true and I think its a lazy, stupid thing to say.

This is a normal post you don't
know the tory party as well as you think you do. they suddenly stopped being a overtly nasty racists around 2003. prior to that there are a wealth of news stories about various tory mps and councillors being blatent racists and homophobes. so either they've all changed their opinions spontaneously or they realised that their racist and homophobic opinions were losing them votes. look at their voting record on gay rights for fuck's sake. refusing to discuss it with me is lazy and stupid.
