it's all a load of wank and Sky are going to be hammering this into July. It gets more like World of Sport wrestling every day.

just because haye is the most well known here (though not the best active english fighter) doesn't mean all boxers are like him.
If you followed the sport you'd probably realise that this kind of thing is more the exception than the rule.
don't compare boxing to the wwe or whatever bollocks.

but the media circus that surrounds them is pretty tacky and does the image of the sport in general no favours.

PPV's kill the sport too. Only having a small number of people watch so you can get better short term profits, how is that supposed to increase the fanbase?
Much of the farce comes from the big heavyweight era really. It's ok when you have ali and frazier. they genuinely hated each other and don king could put on a show. Not to mention ali genuinely did have a lot of character. but all this forced fake hate stuff is a little embarrassing.

my best mate just had his first match and the fitness levels alone are insane. And PPV...., being the total anti murdoch grinch that I am, when it gets going like this....well, football, cricket, rugby etc etc have all gotten skydmarks on them.
And police are looking younger and food tastes bland and eeh look at the price of catfood.
