I've got no problem with an minister being gay or a minister not wanting that made public
But if hiding something/anything about their private life causes them to do things that are unethical or put them in dodgy situations, then they should rightly be exposed.
General innuendo about someone's sex life is a different matter and just seedy. I thought the stuff with William Hague last year was particulary sordid on the part of the press.
