When I was at Uni
There was a relatively small spider that lived under our couch. The rule was as long as he was out of sight out of mind me and my missus would let it live. This detente went on for about 2 months or so.
One night we were sitting down watching Ghost Dog with the light off and out of the corner of my eye I saw this shadow about the size of the palm of my hand moving across the carpet, slowing turning around I realised the spider had grew to epic proportions.
Screaming like a woman I beat it to death with my flip-flop.
Top vid as always btw.

the trouble is
if you kill one of them, all the other spiders know it, and they will take their revenge

If I see a spider and I just can't bring myself to deal with it
I tell it that if it stays away from me I will leave it alone.
I know it probably does nothing, but I can fool myself that we're cool.
Don't judge me
