but equally I think we're a tad too inclined to be scared at the possibility that sexuality can change in men, as it's such a big deal in most cultures folks feel the need to hang onto the idea that it absolutely cannot be altered nor be a choice, which is most certainly true for the majority, but it's not beyond possibility that a stroke could change someone's brain sufficiently to cause someone who had some suppressed gay tendencies he wasn't previously aware of to not only surface but suddenly find them becoming their norm, which could be the case here.
Either way, and whatever others prefer to believe, it's still perfectly possible that to him, it's true, and I happen to believe he definitely believes it, and he's certainly doing it, or as he puts it to the doc telling him it can't be true, 'but here I am', and personally, I say, ok fuggit and good luck to him.

does not reflect how much it should be believed by others.
oh and also "that a stroke could change someone's brain sufficiently to cause someone who had some suppressed gay tendencies he wasn't previously aware of to not only surface but suddenly find them becoming their norm, which could be the case here."
thats pretty much what we are saying... he was a repressed gay, had a stroke, lost repression.

and it doesn't mean he's lying about it to himself, you can go with either argument with the same result.

whose Dad (that I and all her friends had known for years) suddenly one day decided he was gay. He moved out, got a boyfriend, and started hitting gay clubs with gusto.
He was an obstetrician mind, having delivered over 2000 babies may have had something to do with it...

but he developed a 'camp edge' is the best I can describe it. A little tang to the voice and a certain looseness in the wrist.

They seem to not go thru the 'macho reputation' thing during the teens over there, no walking like a horse hung monkey to impress your mates or anything, they all move loose n laugh freely even when sober, hence all men look a tad camp to our eyes.
Confused the heck out of me at first, I was sat in a restaurant thinking I'd stumbled upon an all-gay eating establishment!
