This is a normal post As much as I'm enjoying the youtube still,
I'm not watching- I don't want to see a single second of it. I spent the entire long weekend oblivious of it.

This is a normal post Gliders
I'm still a relative noob, but I'm allowed to fly on my own. The pleasure/adrenaline/sense of accomplishment of making the best part of half a ton of unpowered fiberglass and pilot climb, even for just a few minutes is sublime.
There's already been one other B3ta member who's had a go and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's also a lot cheaper than powered flying, which is cheating anyway.

This is a normal post I flew in a glider
many years ago, it was pretty amazing and certainly a unique experience. I'm not sure my stomach would cope so well these days!

This is a normal post Weirdly, there's a b3tard who's a gliding instructor in his spare time.
Would love to go up, but I'm scared he'd deliberately make me puke.
Also, I haven't been asked :(

This is a normal post If God had meant us to fly without power he never would have created the Rolls Royce company.
