-- A quick search of the BBC website shows that Voyager has been reported as "at the edge of the Solar System" for almost ten years. This seems to be the space equivalent to kids in the back of the car.
Are we nearly there yet?


I've been hearing about this for bloody ages too. The problem appears to be that they can't really define where the edge of the solar system is.

This is a normal post One of the missions of Voyager 1...
...is to detect where the 'edge' of the solar system is. We won't really know where that is until it's gone beyond it.

This is a normal post When you get to Pluto
you have barely reached 1/70,000th of the size of the solor sytem.
