It's a good film, despite being a bit "arty". Perhaps the subtitles lose something in translation but I enjoyed the book a lot more. On the other hand, it's nice encountering someone else who (I assume) enjoyed it. I don't think I E5 A9 08 B7 you though, so don't get too tumescent.

The long takes and quiet moments produced such a unique mood
which would be different from the book of course. It totally took me off to an ethereal place and a couple of moments of pure magical cinematography sealed it as one of my favourite films.
