that he doesn't say a word as he hits it or goes down, really very strange. clearly he must be a robot.

A dumb robot at that. I think it was karma that got him after he crossed the double yellow line on that blind curve.

I hit a twatty road-walking pedestrian like this a few months ago (not the same speed or anything) but he'll probably find that his bike's rideable but a bit mangled and probably unsafe.
