
I feel your pain there. I hate it when it all separates so you've got the meaty bits sitting forlornly on a raft of slightly overcooked spaghetti, which itself sits in a puddle of dubious liquid with very little taste.
This never happens to my mother's spaghetti bolognese, but regularly happened to my friend's mother's spaghetti bolognese. I stopped going round there for tea after a while. And he always wanted to play World Cup Italia 90, which was quite frankly a load of wank. I much preferred Streets of Rage.
I went to France once.
