but i think it does apply here in its proper sense. for the beiber troll there, could be defined as a tale of legendary or heroic proportions.

it kind of means whatever people use it to mean, eventually. That's how language works. Same way 'to decimate' is not now normally used to mean 'to reduce by a tenth'.
