It looks for tone, beat, and tempo patterns somehow.
Some are rejected for various reasons.
The upload tools are not working great for me - maybe because of my tragic slow DSL.
It seems to recalculate each song - even the ones on the playlist.
Fun to watch the graphic.

Vocals and instrumental bits went through a lot of different patterns. YMMV, I guess.
Having a bit of a problem loading Scatman - maybe the site is overworked?
edit - works much faster using Safari in my situation.

Many years ago at Burning Man
My band played for the total destruction (by explosions and fire) of a very authentic "Small World" replica in 2000. I recall playing that horrible song for at least 45 minutes as it burned! A few photos here: www.burningman.com/art_of_burningman/la_vie_boheme3.html
