Because they are a dangerous cult
manipulating people, for their wealth not least
'for esoteric secrets,' which are without doubt utter bollocks, if what their founder is to be going on, Hubbard being a twat.
Their 'Publicity machine' is actually a well financed machine and almost good, if you haven't noticed, hence why we mock them for the twats they actually are
