This is a normal post They "could" have,
but that's a very hand-wavy explanation that could be used to explain away absolutely anything that doesn't add up, and is difficult to falsify.

The Bushmaster is definitely the official story. More likely it seems they mis-reported a gun NOT used. The Huffington Post reported on 15 Dec that another weapon was found at the scene, the Bushmaster was next to his body and the other it doesn't say where it was. It could have been the one in the car since it would be difficult to identify on the footage.

So that's one cleared up. Still not sure how media uncertainty can explain a guy laughing before suddenly becoming serious. Because that's certainly what it looks like.

This is a normal post People do strange things when stressed and in alien situations.
Maybe he was recalling a fond memory of his daughter.
Maybe he was talking to her in his head.
Maybe he was putting himself into a good place so that he could talk about what he was there for and not freeze up before he began.
Maybe he's a mental.

I don't know the reason but it seems very little to base a conspiracy theory on. It's not really an inconsistency, it could just be an example of one person trying to deal with what life has thrown at them.

This is a normal post Too many maybes,
I'm no psychologist, I think a psychologist has to answer this one.

This is a normal post But what is there to answer really?
Someone acts a little strangely - people do so every day when they aren't going through a traumatic experience. This is very little to hang a conspircay theory on.

This is a normal post They don't hang the entire conspiracy theory on this one thing,
they hang it on a whole load of things, this is just a part of the whole picture. I'm not hanging a conspiracy on anything, I'm trying to work out what's going on, because I don't like to just point the finger of ridicule at people, which is far too easy.

You're right, people are strange, but I need to understand the strangeness. I need more than "ha ha conspiracy theorists" to satisfy me, I don't put blind faith in non-paranoia.

This is a normal post Fair does.
The chap who claims “I am the only person in the world to solve LOST” deserves a small dose of ridicule at the very least though.

This is a normal post i am with you PB.
i don't even think it that strange behaviour at all. Having lost a loved one, grief is not expressed by everyone in the same way, the suggestion that he is not expressing enough grief when thrust in the public eye, must mean he is an actor, and all of this tragedy is made up for some political agenda makes me very, very ill... and disappointed with humanity further than the tragedy itself.

This is a normal post what worries me is the sheer volume of the conspiracy theory stuff,
it's next to impossible to find reliable information, or explanations from people who actually know what they're talking about.

This is a normal post seriously?
the sheer volume?
you are looking at the internet. which anyone can say absofuckinglutely anything about anything. using that logic, i can say i know for a fact that your country is run by lizards, mars is populated by subterranean intelligent life, and that Lord Zenu will return to destroy us all.
the fact of the matter is... what happened at that school is a horrible tragic event for which there may never be a complete explanation and to go give even an ounce of credibility to the fucktards that are making shit up is plain sad.

This is a normal post I don't know what logic you are using there.
I hope you're not suggesting that "my logic" is that because there is a large volume of it, it might be true?
"Logic" doesn't even come into it. I'm talking about "my worry," which is that there appear to be more insane people than sane ones.

This is a normal post my apologies then,
as it did appear to me that in seeking further explanation, you were entertaining the notion there could be some credence to these disgusting 'theories'.
i don't know that there are more insane people than sane ones. it would seem the nutters are just louder than everyone else, and best ignored.
anyway, have a happy monday.
peace.
