This is a normal post Its a shame
have very fond memories from my first Lucasarts game I played (DOTD) which led to me picking up all the earlier games, as well as enjoying their early Star Wars games (X-Wing, Tie-Fighter, Dark Forces). Even if they did end up just as a Star Wars game factory, they only did so because people are dumb, and kept buying them (well, up to recently). But those early games had so much atmosphere and joy in them, so tis a shame.

This is a normal post They've been a giant over the decades
Full list of their games here

Their adventure games were such a big thing for PC games back then. Sad to see them go :(

This is a normal post I miss the Lucasarts of the 80's and 90s
Not the one that just pumped out crap Star Wars themed rip-offs of other games.

And the cut scenes looked impressive, but the few flashes of the actual game it showed looked like a terrible 3d platformer.

This is a normal post LucasArts died the day they cancelled Sam & Max Freelance Police
If anything, Disney have put them out of their misery. Still haven't forgiven them for how they screwed over and ultimately killed off Free Radical Design: www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-05-04-free-radical-vs-the-monsters
