As an addition to Rave Friday - here is Vision 1992 ...
at Popham Airfield - it was a mad night and the Prodigy didn't get on because it pissed down outside and they were scared the sparks might go.

I was there ...
and the Prodigy were on for at least one song - cos we couldn't get into the tent. Having said that we were so far back it might have been a tape.
Absolutely one of the worst nights ever -
They hiked the ticket price at the gate, after people queued for hours - though later the crowd stormed the fences, so the tents were mobbed.
They didn't allow re-entries so we couldn't get any gear (clothes or otherwise) out of the cars.
It PISSED down
The 'Bladerunner set' turned out to be a pile of scrap.
People were keeling over from dodgy drugs (may have been allegic reactions to Junior Disprin, which was also on sale at £15 a pop).
They were charging £5 for water (props to the guys who were handing it out free under the counter, though)
It blew a fucking GALE
One of the queen poles fell into the crowd (miraculously killing no one).
Oh and some bloke died in a ditch on their way out.

Yep, it got a bit moody with the steamers working the crowds...
one of my mates got threatened with a knife.
I just stayed on one of the 'bleacher' stands and danced there for hours with a couple of mates. Luckily we got sorted out before the shit went down. I had good memories - thousands probably didn't :)
