Turtle cam and Rock cam spring readily to mind... Sometimes they just have to wait it out though, that dude that spent 4 years in the Himalayas pretty much half the time in a foxhole just to get a few minutes of footage of Snow Leopards (yes I know they are your fave) Just boggles the mind... I would never have the patience, it must get incredibly dispiriting, the upshot must feel amazing though. As for some of the guys that climb to serious heights up trees and sit on metal platforms in the Jungle.... In MASSIVE storms... wow! You must be up for that sort of thing?

there was a DVD I bought myself from Amazon a few months ago made by two film makers in Pakistan, one of whome I think was the guy who got the famous footage of the snowie chasing the deer down the cliffface. More than half the DVD (which I think I saw originally on BBC or Channel Four)is the two of them more or less explaining its basically biblical patience to actually get any footage. One shot is one of them looking out over the mountains, the snowie's range, which is basically mountain peaks as far as the eye can see, just to illustrate the challenge. I'm not entirely sure i'm cut out for that amount of dead time to be honest

I think the eagle was trying to use the egg camera to play skittles, by using the penguins as pins.
