This is a link post Blohm & Voss P.111
I took one look and HAD to make one in KSP...

...the fucker actually flies! Not well, it limps about with all the sideslip and thrust asymmetry and the centre of rotation is off to the left of the cockpit and I've yet to land the thing in one piece, but despite all appearances the thing can actually move!

To quote one of my current favourite Youtube channels - To err is human. To really mess up takes Nazis.

Blohm + Voss had an interesting obsession with asymmetric and generally weird aircraft. You can sort of forgive the small jet designs as they were so constrained by materials at the end of the war, but I'm not sure I can explain the P 170, P 188, or my personal favourite the BV 141

There's a few more here

This is a normal post My pet theory is that Blohm & Voss were dedicated anti-Nazis
who were deliberately pushing for the development of dead-end projects in order to waste Nazi resources.

They weren't the only ones. Seems like everyone and their dog was lining up with their terrible ideas for a piece of the military budget.

This is a normal post Come on, only about 1/3 of those look like rejected Star Wars ship designs.
Most of those jet/rocket planes look like they could be American designs from the 50s (and probably were, more or less).
