Couple get married and follow tradition by heading to KFC for the reception. The brides parents went to Mc Donalds for their wedding recpetion twenty years ago.

This is a normal post As money tightens
one should eliminate ceremonial trappings as in weddings and burying of the dead.

When myself and Mrs.Oat were looking for a place to get married we checked out the official list of approved places for civil ceremonies. Pizza Hut in Dundee was on the list. They don't seem to be on anymore, though. Must have been a one-off for a pair of Jam-town romantics.

This is a normal post I saw this on the news at the weekend
and thought "Good Luck to em"

My wedding went to about £40 a head, so we had to cut numbers.

Doing this means they'll have more people at their wedding, for a fiver a head, and to be honest smoked salmon is nice but a hot, greasy KFC tastes so much better.

At the end of the day, it's easy to sneer at people who've got less than money and you, and a wedding is suppossed to be about what YOU want to do, not what 'soxciety' tells you you should do.
Why get into mountains of debt just so people can have a three course meal because "that's what you do at weddings"?

sorry, I'll shut up now

This is a normal post do you really think the only alternative
to an expensive 3 course meal is fast food?

this aint about the money its about people who would choose to celebrate thier wedding in a KFC... the same people whose children will have asbos. FACT.

Personally, I'd have gone to Wimpy - there's a wider choice of menu and you really can't beat a knickerbockerglory, if they still do them.

I'm serious, by the way. We could have got twice as many people to our reception if we'd done Wimpy and it'd be hilarious to see everyone in full evening wear piling into one of their diners.

This is a normal post shut up all of you that think this is "sweet or charming"
your opinions would change if this couple moved in next door to you...

anybody having thier reception in a fast food restuarant should be added to a list...im not going to say what happens to those people on that list... but im just saying... its a good thing to have.
